The audiobook covers for a lot of sins

This is a 3.5 in my opinion. The story line is good but the main character is hard to get into. The progression in cultivation is poorly explained and the main characters blood lust is over written and erratic (gotta kill everyone 2 sentences later holding a grudge prevents progress. Going to stab them in the heart…)

I like the story and the direction. It seems like at times it’s written to be a kids book then has some very adult themes in it. I thought that was strange. The reader isn’t Nick Podhel...
I probably won’t read the second book but if you are on a long car ride it’s not bad.
