This book 100% gave me that rare, but all consuming 'if I put this book down, I might miss something' feeling. Throughout the entire book, I felt like I was riding on a rollercoaster of all of the emotions that is called life.
29th Street South; Coming of Age in the 60's is so much more than what the title suggests. It encompasses the lives of three best friends, Nick, Sam, and Robby starting in junior high and moving through adulthood and all that is in-between that a person is formed by the events of their lives.
Nicholas Rogers wrote this book in such a way that I felt like I was the proverbial fly on the wall in their lives.
All too often, I will find a book this good and not be able to finish it because of a 'not great' narrator. That is definitely not the case with Tom Jordan. Tom's ability to make the reader see, feel, live what the characters in the book are is a talent only the best of the best narrators have. I have never not enjoyed listening to Tom Jordan narrate.
It was a quick 2 days for me, I imagine that if you pick this up, you will agree with me.

Once again M.A. Hollstein brought it! Strap in because this book is going to take you on a ride from start to finish. It is fast paced, heart pounding, 'what else could possibly happen' action and I just couldn't put it down.
What is going to stop the 'dinosaur aliens'?? I need to know!
I listened to the audiobook version of the book and Julie Branc's ability to breathe life into each character's voice, actions and emotions makes the experience of this story so much better.
I highly recommend!

What do you do when a cat talks to you? No, REALLY talks to you!? Listen, of course! This book has some great characters, some great dialogue and a lot of awesome narration.
I loved how the Author took this haughty cat and gave so much emotion to her. Especially when grieving. Having multiple cats in my lifetime I believed every look, hiss and purr was genuine.
I listened to the audiobook version of this book and Meghan Kelly brings this book alive with her voice. I highly recommend and look forward to listening to the next one.

I love how each of the books stand alone, yet each work together. This time, Roger has a 'friend' named Pat. Unfortunately, he won't give all of the details. Abbie and Betty don't even know if Pat is MALE or FEMALE!
On top of this, after 20+ years, Aggie realizes there is so much about Betty, her best friend of 20+ years, that she doesn't know! How is that possible? In the meantime, a man is murdered and, this time Betty finds the body!
This is just one more funny, quirky escapade of Aggie, Betty and Roger that I enjoyed from start to end!
I listened to the audiobook version and Trish Elliott out does herself. She tells a great story!

After the fire in Aggie's condo and the resulting smoke damage in Betty's connected condo, Roger insists that both stay with him while everything is being replaced/repaired. Unfortunately, familiarity breeds contempt and they are all getting on each other's nerves. Aggie decides she needs a gluten free cupcake and goes to the newest bakery in town to get away. Next thing she knows, Betty and Roger have climbed in her car. When they arrive, they meet a past client of Roger's and something just doesn't feel right about them. Roger and Aggie decide to investigate where Roger literally loses his pants!
This one made me laugh and cringe at the same time. I know what it's like to spend too much time with someone when used to living alone. Aggie, I feel your pain!!
I listened to the audiobook version of this book and Christin Ayotte does a great job with the characters, accents and alll!
I highly recommend!

This one has an interesting twist to the 'possible' murder and even after listening, the question still remains. Murder or accident?
Betty has written a book based on fact on all of the fun and interesting Aggie escapades. While at the bookstore for the signing, a woman dies in the coffee shop. But, something just doesn't feel right to Aggie, and off they go!
This one was narrated by Price Waldman. I was surprised at first and then found myself enjoying his voice, his characters and his story telling. Definitely not a disappointment!
Once again, I have to give 5 stars to both the author and the narrator!

Oh, my goodness, I laughed so hard when Aggie walked into the condo she bought sight unseen! She hired Roger, an interior decorator, to decorate both her and Betty's condos. Roger said he decorated based on how her perceived each lady's 'inner most personality'. Well, Roger's idea on what Aggie's personality made me giggle throughout the book! Meanwhile, Aggie finds a murdered woman and ends up kidnapped. Oh, and she meets a man who becomes interested in her. Is she ready for a new romance?
I listened to the audiobook version of this book and, once again, Trish Elliott does a fantastic job! I hear all of the emotions of each character in her voice and that is not easy to get in a narrator! I can't wait to listen to them all!

This is the first Aggie Underhill book and I loved it! Aggie and her friend fly from the UK to California so Betty can meet her cousin, Roger, and so Aggie can see her daughter & grandson. When they arrived, Roger had just purchased a 'lucky' fish for $200,000 (his life savings). Then the fish gets stolen! Does the fish survive? Does Roger get it back? How does Aggie fit into all of this?? Read the book (or listen...which I highly recommend!)
I listened to the audiobook version of this and Trish Elliott seemed to BE Aggie through and through. Can't wait to listen to more and see what kind of shenanigans Aggie and the group get into.

Cowboy gets a job, single female boss falls in love...Classic. At first, I wasn't too impressed with Tully being so passive, then when he perceived his integrity was being questioned, the 'man' came out. and he stayed the same the rest of the book. I was a bit taken aback at how forward Amanda was UNTIL I realized this is set in modern time and NOT the 1800's. Then all was well with my world. lol
Sex scenes are HOT, but I didn't have to fast forward through them, so maybe just steamy. lol
I loved the relationship between the sisters. To them, family was everything.
I listened to the audio version of this and Natash Nite did a fantastic job. I'm always impressed when I forget that I am listening to a book because the narrator doesn't 'read' to me.
All in all, I recommend this story!
