This book was a fantastic prequel to the Hollows series! I really enjoyed learning the backstory of the Hollows. I would definitely recommend this to fans of the Hollows series.

Worth the wait!

I was concerned due to the slow start and the other reviews. But wow! I’m so glad I hung in there once the story picked up it was really worth the wait. The performances were great also.

I loved the idea of the very rivers of London being embodied as people
Which character – as performed by Kobna Holdbrook-Smith – was your favorite?
He is an absolutely brilliant narrator but Mama Thames was my favorite.

This is one of top five overall series right up there with Splitworlds!! These series may have ruined me for other fantasy novels!
