I rarely leave reviews, but THIS one, I couldn't ignore. Well fleshed out characters, all of the emotions, spellbinding storyline and 5 🌶 on the steam level....but I did NOT see the plot twist coming at me. That's all you're getting out of me! p.s. the voice actors performing duet style were top shelf perfection! 🔥

I didn't want this book to end!! Voice actors performing in duet style were TOP SHELF!! This is probably the best dark..no, best book I have ever listened to. The steam was unreal, if you have triggers, this isn't fir you. First time experiencing this author, my new fav!

Wonderful Narration

As a huge fan of JA Huss, I marked my calendar for this release and while the duel styled narration from the voice actors was top shelp perfection, the storyline was just too complicated. Part fantasy, part dystopian, murky backstories about certain characters, unclear about certain processes in leaving and entering different dimentions. I'm still trying to understand what the "veil" was....and to be honest, I was hoping for a bit more spice. I hate to say that I was disappointed, but in her "After the book shit" segment, I learned that there are plans for extended books from Sparktopia, and I'm going to pass on them. I still love this author, she's one of my top 10 favs, but this was a miss for me.

I loved the storyline, nice amount of steam

This was my first experience with "virtual voice" and I was GREATLY pleased that it didn't sound robotic. That being said, I would have given a higher score if a virtual males voice could have been utilized and the story read duet style.

OUTSTANDING!!

This was an absolute JOY!! The writing was incredible, very engaging characters, every voice actor was tremendous. The added bonus of the immersive background sounds made it a story that I didnt want to end. Charming, sweet, humorous, and heartfelt...absolutely ALL the feels!

omg...I don't understand HOW she can do this, but thank GOD she does!! The M&M world continues and I completely believe that there is actually an agency, these are all true stories of real live people. Strong characters, strong storylines, plenty of holy shit steam...and let's not forget the brilliance of narrator Ryan West!
