A Great New Listen!!
Revisado: 04-01-25
Better than previous novels. This latest installment of the Dirk Pitt series brings a multiplot adventure. More than your "quick read" it was really enjoyable. I really enjoy the historical side of the Cussler novels and this one did not disappoint. Happy listening/reading!

Historia
In this intimate journey of self-discovery, Sam sets out along Scotland's rugged ninety-six-mile West Highland Way to map out the moments that shaped his views on dreams and ambition, family, friendship, love, and life. The result is a love letter to the wild landscape that means so much to him, full of charming, funny, wise, and searching insights into the world through his eyes. Waypoints is a deeply personal journey that reveals as much about Sam to himself as it does to his audiences.

Honesty IS the Best Policy
Revisado: 06-14-24
I accidentally downloaded this book. I am a fan of the Outlander series and even more the supporting smaller novels. I am a sucker for historical fiction (as long as there is strong historical accuracy) novels.
I found this journey of Mr. Heughan a wonderful listen. I enjoyed his style of writing and storytelling. He shared his life's experiences, self doubt, and insecurities in a honest and open manor. This wasn't an, "Oh woe is me" story. It was a realistic journey, of almost 20 years, of the disappointments, good mentorships, hard knocks, and success through perseverance.
I believe many people have a difficulties in separating an individual/actor as a real person from the role/character they portray on stage, large screen, or the box. This was a great 6 day peek into a man that has been formed by real life. His honesty was refreshing, his story inspiring. Great job!

Great Novellas!!
Revisado: 07-21-22
It was delightful and refreshing to have the opportunity to delve into the exploits of Lord John. He is probably my favorite character in the series. His personal life is always a cause for intrigue and danger. Mix this with his military career and the responsibility the adjoins his family name.
Kudos for packing so much into so little!! I rather enjoy the need to "keep up" instead of the repetition of the large novels.
I look forward to more!
