This books seems to dive into the question “Is it ever acceptable to groom a child into becoming an older man’s lover? What if the child had really messed up parents and the adult male lover was TRYING not to give in was super super nice. What if the child really, really , REALLY WANTED IT? Maybe then! “ unfortunately, most men and women who have an attraction to children and young adolescents see themselves as “the good guys” wanting to show the kids “real love.” Look at NAMBLA. Look at Mary K Laterneau. It’s a pedophila apologist’s love story. I’m sure this book will be used as an excuse to go for it for ages to come.

Tiny little flaws in the recording is the only reason this did not receive a perfect score. This was very informative!

imagine a mix of The Stand and Lost. I liked it. Beautiful story telling, conduaing at first and then stunning once you understand what's going on.

I'm a homeschooling mom who is always on the prowl for quality YA books. I'd like to teach my children not only about history, math and science but also about life and issues in addition outside their own realm of possible personal experiences. I thought this book was very thought provoking and emotional, and that teens who have never heard of the term " intersex" might.not only learn the meaning, but get to " live" as someone going through the diagnosis and learning to cope with being so different. it was very well written and relatable. I qi definitely keep this in our home library
