The FMCs version of this book is perfection. I mean honest to god. Nothing could possibly be better. I already read and loved the story line because I love the way Mas does mental breakdowns it’s super relatable and funny but the way this voice actress read it out is perfuckingfection. The male voice actors are also good, but the voice actress for the FMC has a fan now. Imma stalk her and listen to anything she does. 16/10. The love is big, bad and obsessive. Can’t waitttttt for the next book.

Listen I read a LOT of books like a nonsense amount and there has only been one other series that has made me laugh like this. Like had to pause the book cause I couldn’t hear it over my laughter. Getting weird looks in public kinda laugh.

I haven’t even finished it yet and I’m already planning on reading the rest of the series and anything else by this author. It’s a truely lovely romcom I know I’m going to come back to for years when I need to be cheered up.

The FMC’s habit of nonsense panic rambling when nervous is my new favorite thing. This book will be going on my book shelf of “audiobook trophy’s” I’m going to shove this book down people’s throats.

Give it a listen. For fucking sure.

My favorite series

I want to start by saying I do not rewatch TV shows, reread books or relisten to them on principle. Even my favorites, that being said this messy found family trauma filled book with a silly made up sport is by far my favorite series I have ever read/listened to. This is my 5th time rereading it and it won’t be my last. I love this series with a fierce devotion my millennial ass didn’t even devote to Harry Potter. 17/10 despite the times words are said incorrectly or backwards or stumbled over. I would put quotes from this book on my tombstone. The only thing I could ever wish for out of this series is more. Please more. Forever more. Evermore.

Kelsey and Troy absolutely killed this and also this story is honestly one of my favorites. I’m not really the kind of person to watch a movie or TV show again or even to read the same book again but I have listened to this series through at least 5 times. The performance and story is honestly incredible.
