Acerca de esta escucha
Love marriages around the world are simple: Boy loves girl. Girl loves boy. They get married.
In India, there are a few more steps: Boy loves Girl. Girl loves Boy. Girl's family has to love boy. Boy's family has to love girl. Girl's family has to love Boy's family. Boy's family has to love Girl's family. Girl and Boy still love each other. They get married.
Welcome to 2 States, a story about Krish and Ananya. They are from two different states of India; they are deeply in love and want to get married. Of course their parents don't agree. To convert their love story into a love marriage, the couple have a tough battle in front of them. For it is easy to fight and rebel, but it is much harder to convince.
Will they make it?

*2 States* by Chetan Bhagat
I was in a bit of a reading slump, desperately searching for something lighthearted yet engaging. So, I turned to ChatGPT for recommendations on lesser-known, feel-good books. Thus, my journey began.
From the bustling streets of Delhi to the vibrant culture of Chennai, 2 States took me on an adventure filled with love, laughter, and the chaos of family dynamics. At first, I was a little hesitant—after all, I had already watched the movie a couple hundred times. But the book did not disappoint. If anything, it elevated my experience, giving me deeper insights into the characters and their emotions.
I was kicking my feet in delight, laughing out loud, and swooning. The way it touched on themes like cultural differences, family expectations, and self-identity made it all the more compelling.
What I enjoyed the most was Krish’s inner thoughts—his musings, quips, and witty remarks had me cackling because they reminded me so much of myself. (I want an Indian man!!!!)
At its heart, 2 States is a beautiful story of two worlds coming together, proving that love isn’t just about two people but also about embracing and navigating the complexities of their backgrounds. If you’re looking for a book that is both heartwarming and humorous, this one is definitely worth the read!
