This is the recording of a 20 minute session of hypnosis. The objective is to give you a short, restful nap. It is worth noting that it is specifically for a nap, and is not intended to give you a full night's sleep. It puts me to sleep 80% of the time. However even if it does not it still is a relaxing meditation session.
Mr Bonetti leads you through a few exercises and somewhere along that time you will fall asleep. I just play the tape and relax somewhere I won't be disturbed in a position I would normally be able to nap in. At the end it slowly wakes you and usually I will wake right as the recording ends. It is work setting an alarm for 30 minutes after you start though in case you do not wake. I do wake with the tape most of the time however.
Why use this? I usually do not have trouble falling asleep during a nap. I have an alternative sleep cycle.. i stay up late, sleep maybe 6 hours, and then I will be tired in the afternoon. I don't have a diagnosble sleep disorder. A normal sleeo schedule just does not work for me. The issue is instead of napping an hour I'll nap for 3 hours and wake up feeling the way you do when you oversleep. This always has me waking up feeling refreshed and ready to continue my day. It feels much more like a productivity tool than a sleep aid as my focus and energy levels are much better after I use it. Definitely worth the money.
