Did like Alex and his stance on things. He did get tempted but then he tried to correct things especially redirecting Lily and her relationship with her family. I am not that fond with Lily. Though I know her relationship with her family was strained, she could have handled her return a little better/sooner. Or at least be calm and not on the offensive. i also doubt the strength of her feelings (Alex seem like a rebound affair). If she was so eager to meet with him because of the strength of her feelings, she should have been prudent in certain things.
I had the audiobook and the narrator was good, though I would have preferred for her to change Alex' voice. If not for the narration on who is talking, you wouldn't really recognize if it was a male or female character was the one talking. Also, I did find the ending a little rush, and the lady in the park - not sure what her relevance was.
Nevertheless, a good quick read about a second chance at a new love.
