The secrets are annoying, there are so many things Zeke could've told Raven to make both their lives easier. However the warnings he constantly gave her should've clued her in that yes it all started one way, but went another. All in all I'm glad this audiobook had been included free on Audible I'd be pissed if I wasted a credit. Yes I'm curious how their story goes, but not sure I'm curious enough to buy the second & third book.

I’ve listened to 110 books so far this year and this one is BY FAR my favorite! The narration is so so so so good and the story line… uhhhhhhh perfection. Super spicy. I’ve already read book 2 and I’m literally going to die waiting on book 3. Whitney!!! Help us out and get that audiobook ready for us!!

I don’t even know where to begin. This book was messy. It was all over the place. All of the main characters were trash. This is the most toxic romance novel I’ve ever read. I wanted to throw my headphones so many times in frustration!

Awesome story with a few out of the blew twists. The found family is great, the FMC makes you really feel whatever she is feeling and the MMC is morally gray and shadowy. The performance was outstanding.

I don’t typically push through books when I find the FMC annoying, but for some reason I had to on this one. The narrators were great, the spice was great 🌶️🌶️🌶️/5, and the storyline is an interesting one! Lots of potential which is why I stuck with it and will read book 2. (Also I noticed that the audio version differed from the kindle book as I was trying to listen and read them together, I think I might like the kindle better).

I just got really frustrated with the lack of commitment by the FMC. There’s clearly a love triangle going on. Typically, when I find the FMC is pretty strong minded I usually enjoy it, but in this case I feel like she continually went back on her word or lied too many times (be it to herself or one of her love interests). Uggh, it gave me the ick on whether her feelings are/were really true for EITHER of them and so in the back of my mind I kind of hope she gets left by both of them! That’s never happened to me before. 😂 I almost always favor a guy and want the FMC to go through trials needed, but that eventually she’ll be worth all the trouble and so will he. I am not so sure in this case.

Since this is a series, I’m gonna listen to book 2 or at least try to, in hopes to find out that she’s under some sort of “spell” or compulsion in this love triangle so that it can explain her inability to stick to her word, compulsively lie or make stupid decisions. 🤦🏻‍♀️ if not, I might be back to chime in on this review.

I’m hoping book 2 makes up for frustrations from book1

I am not usually one to finish books that I don’t vibe with but I really wanted to give this a complete chance but was sorely disappointed. The plot was very predictable and it was just explicit scene after explicit scene which I’m not usually opposed to but it just wasn’t for me. Give it a try and if you love it that’s awesome but for me it was a no.

there's some many things that I liked about this book but the manipulation and deception grosses my out. I don't like how much the MFC acts so insecure and allows herself to be controlled and manipulated. I'm not sure if it gets better but I'm close to quitting the series. The fact that sex controls the MFC so much that she forgets important facts and is so desperate for any companionship that she allows herself to be controlled and makes excuses for the men in her life bugs me. I prefer a strong MFC that can think for herself

The spice is strong with this book 🥵 I love Dean's ability to weave a great plot, intriguing characters, and a healthy amount of spice all together in one epic novel. Not gonna lie, in the beginning, I was wondering if it was only about seggs, however, about half way through, I was sucked in by the character development. Great story and the voice actors are 💯

Fans of "From Blood and Ash" will devour this book
