Acerca de esta escucha

Trek deeper into the wilderness with New York Times best-selling author Dave Canterbury!

In this valuable guide, survivalist Dave Canterbury goes beyond bushcraft basics to teach you how to survive in the backcountry with little or no equipment. Using the foundation you learned in Bushcraft 101, Canterbury shows you how to completely immerse yourself in the wilderness with advanced bushcraft and woodcraft techniques. He covers crucial survival skills like tracking to help you get even closer to wildlife, crafting medicines from plants, and navigating without the use of a map or compass. He also offers ways to improvise and save money on bushcraft essentials like fire-starting tools and packs. With Canterbury's expert advice and guidance, you will learn how to forgo your equipment, make use of your surroundings, and truly enjoy the wilderness.

Whether you're eager to learn more after your first real outdoor adventure or have been exploring the backcountry for years, Advanced Bushcraft will help you take your self-reliance and wilderness experience to the next level.

Now I'm wishing Dave had instructional videos on how to do things like making a bow. Never knew all the parts had their own names.

Great Information!

I remember Dave Canterbury from the TV show Dual Survivor. I liked him then but you never really know when you're watching something on video how much has been edited or what the person really knows. After reading the book I was very impressed. He's not all gung-ho like Bear Grylls. don't get me wrong Bear Grylls could probably survive anywhere anything anytime but it doesn't apply to 99% of the population and what we are capable of. I thought it was a very well written book and I've learned a lot

better than I expected

Informative, detailed, and a pleasurable listen (rarely the case with title narrated by the author. If only Canterbury’s short Bushcraft titles where consolidated into a single work, I wouldn’t have to blow five of my 12 annual credits to listen to them all.

Throughly enjoyable listen

My definition of advanced must be different than Canterbury's. All the material is quickly glossed over and nothing is thoroughly explained. It feels like the book was compiled from a bunch of google searches of bushcraft, then reworded like a high schooler would do a plagiarized book report, to make it seem like it's in their own words. Don't waste a credit.

Don't judge a book by its cover, goes both ways.
