Being from middle TN where Joe is from made it a bit more interesting as well as the political views which are, well TN-like in general! Got a bit long at times and the way women are treated by the good guys makes me think the author is whipped. Me and all my buddies love our wives but these guys go so overboard. A solid post-apocalyptic novel though. Listened to the whole thing in a few weeks at the gym! If you like firearms that’s a plus!

When the modern world comes to an end, Joe and his newfound friends survive and rebuild. Great story and amazing narration!!!

one of my most memorable moments was Granny's letters, it made me want to write letters to my kids to read. But there was so much good information about being a prepper and things that we should all do to prepare ourselves for an apocalypse. Thank you for writing this book I thoroughly enjoyed it 😊
