The story of the serial killer, the Preacher, and the ArchAngels sent to protect him.

The United States of America, for far too long, had been over-run with racial divide, police brutality, hate crimes, and a Government agenda meant to separate, rather than to unite, the people. Harold Higgsby III, or "Three" to his friends and family, had a past rife with death and loss of his own. A story of serial death, the men and women tasked with bringing him to justice with their own demons, and the resurrection of a great Nation amidst a decade-long crusade of terror, culminates in an ending as explosive as the journey to get there.

Once again Joshua Loyd Fox brings us a very well crafted novel with every character flawed and human, and realistically drawn and balanced. A police procedural, a serial killer novel, and social commentary, all of it rooted in something that made me think of a Southern tragedy, if not Southern gothic. The novel occupies that sweet spot where it's a "page turner", but you don't want to turn the pages too fast because you don't want to miss anything. I can't wait for the next one, to see where this series goes as it unfolds.
