Benji:
When I wake up to see my best friend floating in the doorway, transparent with bruises shadowing her neck, all roads seem to lead back to her older brother Jack. He’s the only one who might believe my ghost story… after all, he was there when I saw a ghost last time. I need his help to figure out what happened to my best friend. The only hitch in the plan is that I’ve been in love with Jack for the last fifteen years and he can’t seem to stand to be in my presence.
Jack:
I should have sent Benji on his way when he showed up at my doorstep in the middle of the night telling a ghost story. Not only is Benji straight, he’s trapped in an unrequited love affair with my younger sister. It’s impossible to be around Benji knowing I can never have him and spending time together in any capacity turns me into a surly jerk. When it turns out my sister really is missing and the cops aren’t making progress on the case we have no choice but to work together to figure out what happened to Jessica.
