Acerca de esta escucha

This satirical anti-war sci-fi novel tells the story of a dystopian future in which the United States has been taken over by a brutal totalitarian Anti-Racist government, whose drastic policies of mandatory racial proportionality are inspired by the actual ideas of Anti-Racist author Ibram X. Kendi... if cherry-picked and caricatured to a hopefully ridiculous-seeming extreme. No one would actually want the world described in this story... Edmund Hsu, classified as Asian, throughout his childhood in the 2040s and 2050s, undergoes humiliating discrimination on account of his race and witnesses horrible repressions of free speech and violations of basic human dignity. This inspires him by the year 2064 to finally take action in an armed insurrection of Colorblinds and Colorblindness sympathizers, who want to establish a new society where people are treated first and foremost as individuals... by the content of their character... not the “color of their skin” or legally-recognized racial classification. However, as the atrocity-filled violence of another American Civil War rages on, Edmund begins to have doubts about the morality of his deeds and begins to wrestle with the terrifying long-term implications of the fierce identity distinctions between people called either “Colorblind”, “Racial Nationalist”, or “Anti-Racist”... It is our duty to stop the future described in this novel from coming to pass... Aventura Ciencia Ficción Literatura y Ficción Sátira Guerra Ingenioso Justicia social
