This is the cute, short poem, "Antigonish" or "The Man Who Wasn't There", inspired by reports of the ghost of a man roaming the stairs of a haunted house in Antigonish, a town in Canada's Nova Scotia province. It begins:
"Yesterday, upon the stair,
I met a man who wasn't there
He wasn't there again today
I wish, I wish he'd go away..."

If you could sum up 'Antigonish' or 'The Man Who Wasn't There in three words, what would they be?
Gripping. Tangible. Entertaining! What did you like best about this story?
I liked the contradiction of wanting to send away what you cannot control but remains ever present.Have you listened to any of K. Anderson Yancy’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
This is another excellent interpretation of prose. K. Anderson Yancy has a unique ability to capture and deliver the message of a story in a manner that makes it come alive. He is a master of intonation and timing. He has a skill and style command that reminds me of the way Sinatra can phrase a song with his own unique timing and emphasis.Yancy Brings The Man Out of Hiding
