Acerca de esta escucha

"Araby" is one of the stories from Joyce's masterpiece, The Dubliners. As is the case with all the stories in the book, it culminates in an "epiphany".©1990 Jimcin Recordings (P)1990 Jimcin Recordings Antologías Antologías y Cuentos Cortos Clásicos

I loved it and there are so many hidden meanings. Especially with the word light. I suggest underlining the word light and going back to see what it may mean.

great short story

This is a superior short story by Joyce. It is evocative of the life and feelings of the young man protagonist. The characters are very pleasant. The narration was very good, but I could deal with a little more Irish accent. In the most quickly read sections the narrator falls into the rhythm of the writing, but when the reader slows down the rhythm becomes suppressed. Still a great story with very good narration, well worth the 95 cents.
