😉…although I’ve come to hate hearing the word NICHE mis-pronounced since someone clued me in that it sounds like nitch. LOL, before that, I’d only read the word and heard other only-readers say it.
I think I’ll get the physical copy too to easily access the great advice.

I have read many books for artists on how to run an art business and this book is one of the best! Maria and her husband Drew have a very successful art business and she shares everything she has learned over the years about licensing, copywriting your art, pricing, and so much more. She shares information on negotiating contracts with clients and galleries. All of this with dignity and respect for all parties involved. My suggestion is buy the audiobook and the book, listen to it with the book in hand but make sure you have your highlighter and page markers, because you will want them. Listening to the book is like sitting down with a really good friend who knows so much about running an art business and all she wants to do is share with you all of her knowledge and wisdom.

Maria reads with such conviction and it becomes so personal that you feel like you are having a coaching session with her. I learnt so much from her wisdom and feel slightly more confident in my art as a result. I always thought that thrre was no money in art but this book has helped change my mindset and showed me that there are many ways to make a living from it.

The pep talks, and myriad concrete tips, tools, and tricks from someone at the leading edge of her field who has been there, done that, sold that, and made that deal happen successfully. I'm absolutely inspired and feel empowered to take action that will help me achieve big goals just like Maria Brophy has worked hard to do. I will write again to Maria Brophy once I have put her tools into action and lived it! Thank you for writing this book!
