Acerca de esta escucha
Pain is a signal from the body that something is out of balance. It’s the body’s way of urging us to take action—to pay attention, protect ourselves, and restore harmony. Pain can arise from injury, illness, or emotional distress, and when it lingers for more than three months, it is classified as chronic pain.
Chronic pain may stem from ongoing health conditions like arthritis or fibromyalgia, while injury-related pain is typically linked to accidents or physical trauma. Emotional pain, on the other hand, is rooted in unresolved emotional distress—such as grief, anxiety, or suppressed anger.
The psychosomatics of pain refer to the profound influence our thoughts and emotions have on the body. For instance, someone who constantly worries about their pain may find that their symptoms intensify over time. Emotional stress can amplify physical discomfort, creating a cycle that is often overlooked by conventional medicine.
Our understanding of pain has evolved—and through my research, I’ve come to uncover deeper truths about the emotional roots of pain and how we can begin to release them. In this book, I share powerful insights into pain, chronic pain, and psychosomatic patterns, offering a compassionate and empowering path to true healing.
