In Horror Road Book 1, the action was spread out in three locations - the Kansas RV Park, Portuguese Bend in Southern California, and Klamath in Northern California.
In Horror Road Book 2, the psychics are attacked by the spirit they call the other.This powerful spirit takes possession of four new people, adding them to the minions it already had under it's power.
Jake and Frankie are on the verge of fleeing Kansas when the psychics from Southern California arrive to help. They soon realize that there is no escape. They must fight the other with their new friends in Kansas or die.
