Acerca de esta escucha
In this episode, we’re diving into an emotion that quietly steals progress and resilience - self-pity. It’s the feeling we often don’t want to admit, but one that can weigh heavily on our hearts.
As autism parents, we navigate medical systems, fight for support, weather meltdowns, and carry our children through storms most can’t imagine. That’s not weakness - that’s strength. We don’t need pity from others, and we definitely don’t need to turn it inward.
Together, we’ll unpack what self-pity really is, how it shows up in our thoughts (“Why does my child have to struggle so much?”), and most importantly, how to step out of it and into empowered, grounded action.
This episode is a gentle yet honest reminder that you are stronger than you think - and you are not alone.
