 上空で雷を誘発し、地上に電気を逃がすことで落雷被害を防止する耐雷ドローンＮＴＴは２３日までに、雷雲の接近時にドローンを飛ばし、誘発した雷を直撃させて地上への落雷を防ぐ実験に成功したと発表した。 Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corp. has successfully triggered and guided lightning in an experiment using a drone, paving the way for better protecting key social infrastructure, such as communications facilities, and people from the destructive natural phenomenon.
