Beginning at 8 a.m. on Friday, May 23, 2025, Yavapai County’s Fire Restrictions Zones Three (3), Four (4), and Five (5), in coordination with the Department of Forestry and Fire Management and Bureau of Land Management, will implement Stage 2 Fire Restrictions to reduce wildfire risk. This implementation marks the first use of the updated Yavapai County Outdoor Fire Ordinance 2025-2, which replaces Ordinance 2020-2. Stage 2 Fire Restrictions are being enacted preemptively by an interim order signed by Chair Mallory on May 22, 2025.
