The San Francisco Giants started their nine-game road trip with a shutout win over the Washington Nationals at National Park. Landen Roupp was awesome today as he tossed six scoreless innings before the bullpen finished off the final nine outs of this game. He got into some trouble when he came out for the top of the 7th inning and was pulled for Randy Rodriguez, who promptly got out of the jam with two runners on base. Despite not getting a runner into scoring position until the 7th inning, the San Francisco Giants scored four runs in the final three innings to lift them to a win.
