The Asics Gel-Nimbus 27 TR is a max cushioned running shoe with a trail-oriented outsole. Priced at $175, it's designed to be a road-to-trail and light hiking option similar to the Asics Novablast 5 TR ($150) and Nike Peg Trail 5 (often on sale under $100).
