DEVOTION
Based on Matthew 11
Jesus invites the weary, the burdened, and the overwhelmed to come to Him, not for more striving, but for rest. His invitation is personal and gentle. When we take on His yoke, we walk in step with Him—learning His rhythms of grace, humility, and trust. Unlike the world’s weight, His yoke is light, not because life is always easy, but because He carries the weight with us.

He doesn’t demand perfection; He offers peace. In Him, we find not just rest from work, but deep rest for our souls—healing, renewal, and lasting peace.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Jesus, You are gentle and humble, compassionate for the weary. I adore You for offering rest that the world cannot give.

CONFESSION: I’ve tried to carry too much on my own. I’ve held onto burdens, You’ve already invited me to lay at Your feet.

THANKSGIVING: Thank You for being a Savior who sees my exhaustion and offers peace. Thank You for Your patience and for walking with me in every season.

SUPPLICATION: Lord, teach me how to walk with You. Help me release every burden and align my heart with Your gentle way. Let Your presence lighten my spirit and quiet my striving. When I feel overwhelmed, remind me that I’m not alone. Give my soul rest—not just for tonight, but for each day as I trust You more.

Heavenly Father, We give You thanks for the gift of rest. You invite us to come to You and find solace from our burdens, that we may exchange them for Your peace. You have an understanding heart that listens to our heavy sighs. You lighten our load - allowing us to lay down the worry and toil of this world. Lift up our heads and give us clarity of mind, so that we can live in a state of rest; knowing that You are in control no matter the storms that come our way. In Jesus Name, Amen. 🙏🏾
