Acerca de esta escucha
From a young age, I always had a special place in my heart for children. Growing up in metropolitan Detroit, my childhood was marked by the shadows of abuse and neglect. The love I so desperately needed was often out of touch, but it ignited a deep desire to give it to others. I vowed that one day, I would create a safe and nurturing environment for children, filled with the affection I rarely received.
At sixteen, my world was turned upside down when I was forced to drop out of school. The challenges of teenage pregnancy and the weight of depression and anxiety made it difficult to continue my education. But even in those darkest moments, my love for children remained unwavering. I knew that my journey was far from over, and I was determined to find a way to provide for my child and to give them the love and protection I had never known.
Years passed, and I faced many obstacles along the way. Despite the hardships, I never lost sight of my dream. I eventually returned to school and graduated, albeit later than most. The sense of accomplishment was profound, and it fueled my determination to create a better life for my family.
Throughout my life, I have always loved everyone's children as if they were my own. My heart, bigger than Texas, has been a source of strength and compassion. Whether it was taking care of neighborhood kids, volunteering at local schools, or simply offering a listening ear, I found joy in nurturing and supporting the young souls around me. My home became a haven for children, a place where they could feel safe, loved, and valued.
Despite having my own children, my love and care extended far beyond my immediate family. I embraced the role of a caregiver, offering support and guidance to those in need. Each child I encountered became a part of my heart, and their well-being was my priority. The bonds I formed with these children were a testament to the love and compassion that drove me forward.
