The military's effort to unify its sensors and networks under the banner of Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control has been in the works for several years. Now, a big part of the National Guard's contribution is coming into focus. The Guards project homeland is meant to bridge the gap between local emergency response and military support. Key parts of it are expected to be up and running by next year. Kenneth McNeil is the Chief Information Officer for the National Guard Bureau.
