Before entering the field of Haiku, the reader must accept that he is in front of a different style of poetry, in which the poet -within a magical brevity-, invites him to recreate the images of what happens in the place where he is; without issuing opinions or concepts of his own.
To savor and delight in this very special poetic genre, you must learn to identify the symbols with which you identify what nature places in front of your eyes; the simplicity, the brevity, the color, the sound or the silence, and everything... within the instant in which it happens.
Each Haiku consists of three verses -five, seven and five syllables respectively-, but it is not a brief text of fifteen syllables as a total sum. Its essence goes beyond simple narrative, since it contains philosophical concepts influenced by Indian Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism and Chinese and Japanese Zen.
¿QUÉ ES EL HAIKÚ?
Antes de entrar en el terreno del Haikú, el lector debe aceptar que se encuentra frente a un estilo de poesía diferente, en el que el poeta —dentro de una mágica brevedad—, le invita a recrear las imágenes de lo que sucede en el lugar en que él se encuentra; sin emitir opiniones o conceptos propios.
Para saborear y deleitarse con este género poético tan especial, debe aprender a identificar los símbolos con los que se identifica lo que la naturaleza coloca frente a sus ojos; la simpleza, la brevedad, el color, el sonido o el silencio, y todo… dentro del instante en que sucede.
Cada Haikú consta de tres versos —cinco, siete y cinco sílabas respectivamente—, pero no se trata de un texto breve de quince sílabas como suma total. Su esencia va más allá de la simple narrativa, ya que encierra conceptos filosóficos influidos por el budismo indio, Taoísmo, Confucianismo y Zen chino y japonés.
