Private detective Brett Cornell decides to go on vacation and hits the sunny, golden shoreline of the Atlantic Ocean where he quickly captures the three "A's" (the attention, admiration, and affections) of many of the lovely young bikini-clad beauties as he could ever desire! This was just plain awesome! I admit, I was a bit unsure at first, but OMG was it entertaining! I really loved it - it's the first in the series I've listened to, but it won't be the last. Dammit Brett, you got me hooked! Writing and narration are amazing, definitely recommend it! HA-LARIOUS! :)

Yes the Writer and Narrator have a strange symbiosis with this Series.The Narrator has morphed into
the lovable un #metomovement oversexed overfed overhere New England Stud Muffin.

I am tired of writing 5 star reviews for this Series since I feel like a paid Hack writing Robotic praises for
this Combo.

The truth is I am smitten by the humor and character of Brett and the delicious style of the Writer and Narrator.

This Audio Book and all before them vary in quality and its level of wit...... but I believe any book you pick will put a smile on
your face and give you an entertaining experience.


I ask the Author to stop churning out such good quality humor I simply am tired of giving so many 5 star reviews.

Start writing some crap already or ELSE............... You know what I mean !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was a very interesting listen. From the start, you're greeted with an unmistakable accent and attitude that actually seems a bit much. But the story is so engaging, and the delivery of the narration so enthusiastic, it's really not an issue. Brett is a fairly empty, cliched dude, but he embraces it, and that's what helps it sell. Very good job!

This is the only series that I came across which I believe that must be an audio, reading it will still be great but listening to it perfects it into a masterpiece.
By using Travis Henry Carter to narrate this series with his abilities to use just the right amount of Chicago or Brookline accent and street slang no other audiobooks can compete with this kind of creation that David D. D’Aguanno have written, as an audiobooks series it’s just pure Joy !!!
I’m from LA. So I can’t tell exactly where this accent is from, only that it’s from the other side of the United States from me.

Any way I Love this series and every one of the books in it is so great that writing a review for each is hard because they all deserve the same review,
They are all written beautifully and narrated perfectly,
Those books are just excellent,
I never enjoy and laugh as much as I do
With this series !!!
Hence the problem reviewing those audiobooks, I’m not a poet so I don’t have the words it deserves and really even if I did, every book review would or should be a copy of the one before.
That’s how good this series is !

I absolutely full heartedly recommend this book for all without any hesitations what so ever.

Some days you just want a book that is going to make you laugh, that is going to make you shake your head and say why but you thoroughly enjoy the Escape into the comedy and the insanity of the main character. This book will leave you laughing, which is weird because it has a murder in it. And yet you can not help but feel like it doesn't matter.

I really appreciated the narrator who kept a steady even keel no matter how insane the book got around him.

To guys out there no the methods used by the title character of this book do not work, do not use this as a way of treating women as I will guarantee you you will not get the results that this guy did.

This book is written and very well narrated. I enjoyed it immensely, but it was a little more lighted hearted and young for my liking. But it was a good read. I look forward to more of his work

This was a fun one. Lighthearted in a way. A more abbreviated mystery, but plenty of the usual hijinks and ruthlessness. And now that he's suitably ravaged a community well below his league, I look forward to his return to Birchwood. A Brett essential!
