Acerca de esta escucha

When Kameron moves to his grandma’s sheep camp on the Navajo Reservation, he leaves behind his cell phone reception and his friends. The young boy’s world becomes even stranger when Kameron takes the sheep out to the local windmill and meets an old storyteller. As the seasons turn, the old man weaves eight tales that teach the deeper story of the Diné country and the Diné people.

This is a great book for young people and anyone. The tales told by the elder man had good morals to teach in an interesting way.

Great stories within the story!

Jim Kristofic’s prose draws you into the place and time he describes. It’s easy to forget the outside world for a while yet when you push pause you somehow feel more engage with the people, places, animals and fauna about you.
Aaaaand he may be even a better narrator.
So glad I’ve discovered his work.

I just could not get into book for some reason I wanted so much more from it but I found myself lost and thinking about other things. the story just should not keep me hooked even when it had multiple stories within a story.

I can't put my finger on it
