Michael Warren isn't your ordinary detective, he's a werewolf. With his partners, Tabitha and Sam Edwards (she's a witch and he's the I.T. guy), Michael takes on cases where the supernatural is the norm and it pays to be more than human.
When his partner's niece, a talented witch named Samara, is kidnapped, Michael must journey to England to try and save her. He discovers more than meets the eye as a fanatic tries to use Samara's special magical abilities to bring an ancient goddess back into the world. Now it will take all of Michael's human skills and his werewolf powers to stop what could be the beginning of the end for us all.
Blood Sacrifice is the second Werewolf for Hire novel.

If you could sum up Blood Sacrifice in three words, what would they be?
Witty, intelligently writtenWhat other book might you compare Blood Sacrifice to and why?
Jim Butcher's "The Dresden Files". Sort of the same style with a different take and perspective.Did Wyntner Woody do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?
I was a little hard on Mr Woody at first and I feel bad about that. I cannot decide if he got better as the story progressed or if I was engrossed in the story. Either way I felt when the London Wolf Pack entered the picture he did a fair job. The other reviews on here are, in my opinion, a little rough on the guy. So to answer the question, YES.Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Sure, I was engrossed in the story.Any additional comments?
I met Nic Brown at a Lexington Comic Con in 2013, He was trying to push his book and I thought "oh great more junk". I asked if this title was on Audible, thinking it would not be, and he answered it was. I did have a few credits so I told him I would pick it up. As you can see I did and I am really glad I did. This story has a lot in common with Jim Butcher's books and I ate those up. I thought Nic Brown did a fantastic job and Wynter Woody did fine as well.Excellent little book

Is there anything you would change about this book?
The narrator is really bad. He's more suited to reading the news or the weather or maybe a biography. He distracts from the story which is really a good story. I was able to ignore it for the most part but still didn't enjoy it as much as I shoud have. What was one of the most memorable moments of Blood Sacrifice?
The Wendego in the first chapterHow did the narrator detract from the book?
Character changes weren't fluid or even consistant. When in the U.K. the accents were sometimes done, sometimes not.Did Blood Sacrifice inspire you to do anything?
Make sure I don't buy another book narrated by this person unless it's a biography or something that doesn't require character development.Any additional comments?
The story is really good if you can ignore the narration.Too bad about the narrator
