But before they could finish the deal, a young woman stumbled out of the underbrush into their illicit business deal. Was that a wedding dress?

I as saddened that I took the step forward to see a new author in a fantasy world. I love fantasy. I love shifters. I love sci-fi. I did not love or like this one. It was one directional at best. There were places where things could have been amped up to make this a good read. I just got not hating it. I could not all this a romance. I could not call this many things. I could say that it was a quick listen. Things went by fast. I felt like things just happened with no real rhyme.

Narration was cartoonish. I have heard other reads from Audrey Lusk and found the acceptable, but this one I did not like. It just felt off.

The characters sounded like cartoons
