Sharan Daire and Vivianne Ferrari were new to me but i dove in because Jack Calihan is always amazing and i was curious. What a wonderful surprise. Sharan’s story dives immediately into action, broke single mom stranded with 2 hungry kids stuck on road in a beat up car and her men come to the rescue! Its not wordy, no long winding inner monologues, its sweet and sexy, low to mid angst, Vivianne Ferrari is a fabulous narrator, i was enchanted by the kindness and vulnerability in her voice, especially the children’s voices. Jack Calihan narrates the perfect alpha male or in this case the perfect 4 alphas who are on a mission to save this single mom and her babies and sweep them off their feet! So much passion and so much sweetness! It left me smiling and starry eyed. Will definitely be waiting for the rest of series!

In all honesty I wish my car would break down and guys would take me in. Like who doesn't wish that and cherish you the way these guys do with her. First time listener to Sharon Daire and definitely would say that I can't wait to listen to more. Jack and Vivienne did an amazing job narrating this book!

This is my first [audio]book from Sharan Daire and I was impressed with her work. The characters are so well-developed. Sharan wrote in such a way that it made you feel connected to each character. She took the time to let you really get to know each one. Derek, Shelby and her kids’ first savoir, is a sheriff. He’s loyal and protective. His brother Kaleb is a mechanic and the biggest sweetheart of the 4 of them. Everett is hard-working, sweet, and honorable. I’m a sucker for the lost soul. For the man no one else wants and who finds himself unworthy and unredeemable. So, I’m all Team Chris, our fourth and most intense male. An ex-marine with PTSD, and a heart of pure gold. He’s the grump in the story. Gruff and hard. Shelby sees right through that hard exterior to the heart of him. Each one had an intimate connection with Shelby that went beyond just the physical. Shelby is a sweetheart who’s been treated terribly by the men in her past. These men make up for that and give her more than she ever thought possible. There were a couple of elements to the story that I didn’t care for, but it was a personal preference, not a fault in the book. Overall, I thought the storyline was great. It was detailed and intriguing. I like that there was no huge conflict marring down the storyline. I mean, there was a little conflict of course since she ran from her ex and has trust issues from that, but it added to who and why she is who she is. It added to why she and her kids deserved to be spoiled and loved by these amazing men. This sweet, insta-love, steamy audiobook is a must listen for reverse harem fans!
Vivienne Ferrari and Jack Calihan were cast perfectly for their roles. Their timing, pitch, pace, and tones were exceptional. Their characterizations for each character were unique while also complimentary to each other. I imagine it’s not always easy to make such different characters stand out from the rest, but these narrators did just that. It was a flawless performance. The parts of the story I didn’t like were made up for by their superb narration skills. They really brought this story to life. I highly recommend the audio version of Broken Down. Thank you to Pink Flamingo Productions for gifting me this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

I love this book. I am so excited about the next one can't wait! I love the narrators and the book itself. I was completely hugged from the 1st to last word.If I could get it more than 5 stars I would.

This is my first book for this author under this pen name, but have read her PNR works under another pen name and her series is one of my favorites. So, I decided to give her "real life" genre story a try and I am so happy I did! This is light ands easy going, the "trouble" in the story comes from the people within the harems own hearts. The main thing about this story is a fight with insecurity. I can understand this totally! As a single mom myself, I connected with Shelby on a deep level. I really enjoyed this book and will be reading the second now!

I enjoyed this book. It's a quick listen, and what I would call "insta-love". No angst here, either. It's easy listening and the narrator's did a great job. If you enjoy insta-love easy listening, you will enjoy this book. Worth your credit!

Broke Down by Sharan Daire is a reverse harem romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Vivienne Ferrari and Jack Calihan. This is the first book in the My Over The Top Possessive Alpha Harem series.

This is the first book of Sharan's that I have read, and it won't be my last. I really enjoyed the relationship that bloomed between Shelby, Kaleb, Derek, Chris, and Everett. I also enjoyed getting all of their points of views throughout the book.

The book ended on a cliffhanger, but that wasn't a surprise since it's the first book in the series. I can't wait to dive into the next book Knocked Up to get more of their story.

Vivienne and Jack did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like instant connection romances, reverse harem romances, or contemporary romances.
