Annie knows that art security can be inadequate, but it's crazy to think that an Old Master painting could be hanging unguarded in the local columbarium where she's doing restoration work. Still, when she gets a tip that the chapel's copy of Raphael's exquisite La Fornarina might be the real thing, Annie has to take a look. And when she runs into a certain sexy art thief on the premises, alarm bells go off in her head as well as her heart.

Tired of being an art world pariah, Annie hopes that if she can help return the masterpiece to Italy, she'll finally be redeemed. But when murder enters the picture, Annie realizes that it won't be so easy to put things at the cemetery to rest....

I took a chance and bought 2 audiobooks in the series during a sale. Loved them so much that I used a credit for the 3rd and now I can't wait until the 4th is made into an audiobook. Eureka I found gold!

I've listened to all three of the books in the series. If I'd have had to read them I might have just skipped to the end to see if the main character survived her stupidity. After listening to the third book I've decided that although I enjoy the art information, and it's interesting to learn art history facts, and the story is quick moving, I'll give the rest of the series a miss. I get fed up with the main character's constantly putting herself and others in danger. You'd think she'd learn. It's just becoming boring to wait and see if she'll become any smarter. Xe Sands is the reason I kept buying and listening. She has a fun and pleasant voice. She is one of the better performers on Audible.

I like this art mysteries series due to its quirky cast of characters and the fact I always learn a little about art and the world of restoration and forgery.
Plus Xe Sands seems to me a good reader for Juliet Blackwell's books as she seems to get the rye sense of humor and different voices

This turned to be an amazing series!! Well written story lines, well developed characters, full of art history facts. I loved it. I am only sad that there are only 4 books in this series. Please bring back Annie Kincaid!!

The best book so far! I appreciate the connections FINALLY made between Annie and the men in her life, but more so I appreciate the focus being on her more than anyone else. Michael and Frank still made appearances but not as much as in the previous book and we get to really focus on Annie and her conscious as she listens to the mental voice of her grandfather. I'm dying to hear the next chapter of her life as soon as the next audio book is released.

another great book by Juliet Blackwell and narrator Xe Sands. I am a huge fan. cant wait for the next book in the series.

I enjoyed this book completely and would listen to it again and again, The narrator was spectacular the storyline was superb and Blackwell and Lind work well together. I need more.

How does Ms Blackwell manage to so easily create such real characters?? While her fantasy series are good - she excels at the real stuff! When each book ends I'm already missing the people in it. Annie, Frank and Michael are so real I know their lives are going on anyway. Ms Blackwell spends interesting tales woven with real information but never does it feel like an "info dump" just to show off the story's research. It all just flows. I need to know how Annie & Michael's business goes, does she ever have "the talk" with Josh, does Frank finally win her heart???

PLEEEEZZZZ ma'am can we have more??
