I’m glad this wasn’t my first by this author, I had a hard time continuing this one. I thought the storyline sounded promising, the couple just didn’t have chemistry to me so it fell flat during most of it. It did pick up, but Tante Lulu wasn’t even close to being as funny as two previous books. Part of that was Joe Arden’s narration of her, I usually love his work but his narration of her was missing something compared to Mr. Harding from the previous book. I can’t really recommend this one, but check out the others for sure. I do appreciate that the author brought attention to one of our biggest horrors in this country, that is sex trafficking.
