Acerca de esta escucha

Moments after the Jar of Stars is returned to its home dimension with unknown consequences, the Crystal Heart administrator makes a game-wide announcement to all NPCs offering a bounty of godhood to anyone who kills Mark or the ones he loves.

Forced to immediately flee the tree city of Starglade, the only real option is to crack one of Audra’s old Recall Charms and teleport to a location labeled only as “Sanctuary”. But will Sanctuary live up to its name?

Ancient mysteries, withered deities, bizarre societies, and enduring new allies all lie ahead of our heroes in a world dramatically changed by not only the choices they make but by their very presence.

Sadly this is the second to last book and I can't say enough nice things about it. That said be aware that the next book has been absolutely trashed by a sudden and disappointing change in narrators. The addition of a narrator would have been one thing but the masterful and by now well-recognized character voices get utterly disfigured by two new narrators who I'm sure would be fine if they weren't absolutely transfiguring all the characters unrecognizable. Not even a token effort to preserve the previous voices. I'm not sure what happened but if you're like me the story dies unfinished at this book.

hopefully one day I have time to get the next one in print.

Warning, The book and story are great BUT

of the three books in this series this is the shortest and although a lot happened not my favorite. Very good character development and emotional growth. just wish the story had a little more to it.

its good...

I've listened to all of the Prax tales about Mark and his friends (and Mark 1). I've been hooked from the first one.

I really like how creative he is with his charecters, and how well Christian Fox does each so well.

If you are on fence, just start listening. You will be hooked too! 😁🥰🌝

👍👍 THIS IS A REALLY FUN (and sexy/) STORY!

I really enjoyed this one, seemed to sort, I wanted more. But that's a good sign. Great power up book, looking forward to the next one.

Christian Fox does great work

Thank you Prax Venter for a great story.

The power

Se ha producido un error. Vuelve a intentarlo dentro de unos minutos.

Characters who grow and evolve over time, check.

A plot that is more than an excuse for adolescent erotica, check.

Emotional depth, check.

No annoying or overly cliche dudebro sidekick characters, check.

Female supporting characters with personalities that are more than fill in the blank formulaic harem roles, check.

Honestly, the harem genera is too full of formulaic poorly written trash. Bad haren stories focus on three things. "Dominating" or "taming" women like they were things/objects rather than characters with their own needs and motivations. Conquering territory, people, or groups, as if doing so were the sole purpose of masculinity. And, fixating on a hidden cheat or busted aspect that gives the character "SUPREMACY" or some other BS without making the protagonist actually work to achieve their gole.

Harem writers forget that there needs to be an actual story, well written and crafted with an eye for character development and plot. Characters need to fail as well as win. they need to over come chalanges and maybe lose in spite of getting what they want. It is what happens after lose and failure that make stories interesting.

I like well written harem stories and there are only a few that do it well; Venter, Stryvant, Earle... A great writer once said that every well told lie contains enough of the truth to be believable, and all great stories are simply well told lies. Too much of the offerings on Audible are poorly told lies with unbelievable characters. I am so glad there are writers like Venter that can provide a pleasant light hearted distraction and a well written story. Thank you Prax.

Not your typical harem fantasy

Everything I wanted in more. Mark's journey through this world has been so exciting and I can't wait for the next book.

Amazing!
