The assassination of a congresswoman on the streets of Washington, DC, brings FBI agent Ray Nicholson to the scene. Quickly, more inexplicable assassinations pop up all across the country. Baffled by the killer's victims, bedeviled by his motives, foiled at every turn by his cunning and meticulous planning, Ray doggedly tracks the mysterious assassin. Making matters worse, Ray finds himself a pawn in an interagency game of chess. All the while, his boss' words ring in his ears: "Remember, a pawn that becomes inconvenient gets sacrificed". As political pressure builds and bodies continue to aggressively stack up, Ray scrambles to solve the mystery and catch the enigmatic killer before he strikes again.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, well written, well performed, scary, lots of nut jobs out there.Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
Not on the edge but I didn't yawn. Seriously, the pacing was very good, not so much going on you get confused but quite realistic. What does Spencer Cannon bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Certain inflections, an emphasis here, a pause there, well done.Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Not extreme but we hear far too often some idiot thinks he needs to make some point about something by killing innocent people.Any additional comments?
I hope the materials described to male the bombs were not real. This might be a headline any day now.
