I find myself somewhat melancholy about writing this review as it’s the last one for one of my favorite writing duos, Kennedy Fox. I’ve been a huge fan of theirs for the last six years and when it was announced they would no longer be writing together my heart broke just a little bit. Having said this, getting to experience the last three books in the Circle B Ranch series via the wonderful narration of Lia Langola and Tor Thom is the perfect way to cap off my listening binge of this entire series. I loved getting to spend time with all the couples in this series and I found myself with a huge smile on my face for the entire listening time. There’s just something about this Bishop family and all these cowboys that I love and adore. While we’re not getting any more books from this writing duo, I’ll definitely be visiting this small Texas town in the future with both re-reads and re-listens!

5 Who Gets the Girl Stars!!

I’m generally not a fan of love triangles, but Kennedy Fox did a wonderful job with this story that has two brothers competing for the same girl. And oh my heart… both Kane and Knox touched my heart in different ways and at different times in the book I kept vacillating with who I wanted Hadleigh to end up with.

Things changed for everyone the night of the Bachelor Auction because Hadleigh only had enough money to bid on one of the twins. And so begins this love triangle because Kane finally gets the fortitude to admit his feelings for his best friend and while she is attracted to him, her feelings for Knox have changed too.

I loved how the dynamics of each relationship changed as the story progressed. I also think this is one of the sexiest and spicy books this duo has written because my fan was getter over worked while reading!! While I was concerned about how the relationship between Kane and Knox would change because of their feelings for the same girl, and there were definitely moments that challenged their bond, I think working their way through this triangle actually strengthened their relationship and the love they have for each other.

What this comes down to is that the right man got the girl… but don’t worry, the other twin will get his HEA too!!

5 They Both Give in to the Temptation of Each Other Stars!!!

I’ve been looking forward to Kane’s book since I finished Knox and Hadleigh’s book and holy moly is this book HAF!! Kane is a dirty, dirty man and he’s going to give Ivy everything she didn’t know she needed in every aspect of her life!!

I loved everything about this book… Ivy’s secret longing for a man she thought was unobtainable and Kane’s attraction to a girl that should be off limits for him, but his willingness to face consequences, if there are any, of falling in love with a girl younger than him and the little sister of his best friend. I loved how their relationship developed through the book. This man has so many facets to him that I just fell in love with him!

I’m never disappointed when I pick up a Kennedy Fox book. They write characters that are relatable, sexy as all get out, families that I would love to be a part of and some of the best love scenes, even if they are super dirty! I can’t believe we’re coming to the end of this series… I may just be doing a re-read from beginning to end before the last book releases later this Summer because I just want to stay in the Circle B world for as long as possible!

5 It’s Always Been Her Stars!!

I cannot believe this is the end of this series… but what a way to end it though!! I FREAKING LOVE Payton and Kait!! These two are the ying to each other’s yang… their friendship is strong, filled with laughter and caring. So when Kait makes the declaration to Payton that she’s decided to take matters into her own hands to get the baby she so desperately wants, Payton decides to step up and help his bestie. In the back of his mind, he’s hoping that she can finally see how she is everything he’s ever wanted in a woman and he’s willing to bide his time.

There’s so much to love about Kait Bishop… her love of her family, her intelligence and her amazing skills with the horses. She’s grown up in a family that laughs and loves hard whereas Payton had the exact opposite as he grew up. Their connection was immediate when he showed up on the Circle B Ranch and several years later it’s finally his time with this woman. And holy moly their chemistry is through the roof… talk about HAF!!!!

I adored how their “friends with benefits” arrangement started to become so much more… especially for Kait. I could feel every one of her emotions as they entered into the process of making a baby and it didn’t go exactly as Kait was hoping for. And God bless Payton for being there for all of Kait’s moods! As close as they were before they began this process, their friendship oh so slowly turned into a love that is unwavering, strong and filled with a passion that both of them have always wished for. It’s not a hop, skip and jump to their love though… it’s a slow burn. And the entire Bishop clan is all up in their business…as they should be!

While I’m sad to see the ending of an era on the Circle B, Kennedy Fox did a phenomenal job of bringing everything full circle. And with the announcement that we’ll be back in this world in the future has me wanting to re-read all the Bishop books from beginning to end just so I can stay in a world that I love and adore just a little bit longer!

The overall theme of this compilation is "Friends to Lovers". Each story while they intertwine and have a similar theme are each very different in their own right.
Kennedy Fox has a way of writing a compelling story, without going over the top unbelievable which I love
These stories are steamy for sure but also pull at your heartstrings.
The bishop family is multidimensional, hilarious, and full of love.
Can't wait to dive into the next generation of Bishop's!
Would recommend!

I love this series so much and the narrators did great. I can't believe we're not getting the next generation 😭😭😭 I'm so sad. I hope the authors will change their mind in the future.

Being from San Angelo- this immediately grabbed my heart. Reminded me so much of the life I grew up in. Grandma Bishop was such a wonderful matriarch of the family. I enjoyed being submerged in the Bishop family ranch. The love stories were HOT and fun. Lose yourself in this! My favorite cowboy... who I'm a kidding- they were all sexy!🤣❤️❤️

Claiming the Cowboy

I am not a huge fan of love triangles - especially ones that involve brothers. But as I type that all I can think about is how we all loved Vampire Diaries despite this very fact. 🙈

Knox, Kane and Hadleigh are 🥵🥵🥵 this book starts off with a bang - literally - and does not stop.

I do feel like we didn’t get enough growth from the characters but I still enjoyed this one.

I was so sad for Kane after Knox’s book but I should have known he was bound for an amazing HEA too.

While I don’t love that his story is with Ivy, Hadleigh’s little sister, I do love their story. I love the twist on best friend’s little sister and as always the spicy scenes were 💯💯💯

Wow! I think Kaitlyn and Payton jumped to my favorite couple and I’m here for it.

I absolutely loved how their story played out with them being besties who were going to become parents together and live their lives happily as co- parents.

Of course it develops into more - because how could it not? And I just swooned.

Plus the ending was just 😍😍😍

I’m sad to be done with Circle B Ranch but loved the journey so much!

Finally, the rest of the Bishop kids got their story and HEA.

I was already waiting for the twins' stories and the authors didn't disappoint :)

And Kaitlyn's and Payton's story is a perfect ending.
But the bonus epilogue gave me the rest!
Don't wanna stop to hear about the Circle B Ranch.

This has to be my favorite as it has Jackson's 3 kids finding love! With a love triangle/threesome to an age gap followed by friends with benefits this one has so much spice! this one is definitely worth the wait for Knox, Kane, and Kaitlyn! Kaitlyn and Payton have to be my favorite, however I very much love Kane and Ivy. Knox and Hadleigh start it out strong with the heat, but Kane and Ivy followed by Kaitlyn and Payton do not disappoint in the spice department! if you love small towns and cowboys this is one for you for sure!!
