According to Merriam-Webster Dictionary, continuity means uninterrupted connection. The first known use of continuity was in the 15th century as it pertained to the trajectory of time. Other definitions include something that continues for a long period of time without being changed or stopped, such as the continuous flow of time. Thus, when Carlos is summoned to the Great Clock and told his father has been murdered out of continuity, he may cease to exist if the murder isn’t thwarted before the timeline corrects itself.

Author Steven Booth has written a high octane, time bending thrill ride like I’ve never seen before. As readers begin to question the fabric of time, murder, mayhem, and mystery take root. Jumping back to before he was born, Carlos begins to unravel the events of his father’s death. But, as we soon discover, his education and understanding requires him to seek someone more well versed in travel, despite her decision to disown the family and live among the world of virtuals.
