A Chilling True Story of Love, Wealth, and the Descent into Madness
Sterling Braswell had it all—a sprawling ranch, stock options, and millions in the bank. His life was the epitome of success. But when he rekindled a romance with his high school sweetheart after a decade apart, he could never have imagined the darkness she would bring into his life.
This riveting, brutally honest memoir chronicles Sterling’s devastating journey as the woman he loved descended into the sinister underworld of methamphetamine addiction. With vivid intensity and heartbreaking candor, Crazy Town takes you inside the surreal nightmare where love spirals into betrayal, wealth dissolves into desperation, and sanity teeters on the brink of madness.
Inside the pages of Crazy Town, you will experience:
A Shocking True Account: Witness Sterling’s transformation from millionaire to nearly murdered as he fights to survive his wife’s spiraling addiction.
Gripping Personal Drama: Navigate the blurred lines between devotion and danger, loyalty and lunacy, and love and loss.
An Eye-Opening History: Discover the alarming global rise of methamphetamine, from its early use in wartime to its devastating modern epidemic.
Unforgettable Characters: Meet the individuals whose lives are forever altered by this ruthless drug, from the darkest depths of addiction to courageous attempts at recovery.
Crazy Town is more than a memoir; it’s a cautionary tale and an urgent wake-up call. Sterling Braswell masterfully combines his personal nightmare with meticulous historical research, delivering a compelling narrative that is as educational as it is heart-wrenching.
If you've ever wondered how a life can unravel so quickly—or if you've ever believed addiction could never touch your world—this book is a must-read.
Enter Crazy Town… if you dare.
The Weekender Raves About Crazy Town! Drugs, violence, sex and betrayal. Sound like the tagline from the newest Megan Fox movie? Maybe, but those components are also the basis for the book “Crazy Town: Money. Marriage. Meth.” by Sterling R. Braswell. Though depressing at times, this intimate glimpse into Braswell’s life allows the reader a new perspective on the meth crisis in today’s culture. His findings and the way in which he sums up the history of the problem also make it easier to understand how and why it is becoming an epidemic. It is obvious that this is an issue close to Braswell, and this book is his attempt to shed more light on the lurking crisis. Rating: W W W by Stephanie DeBalko Weekender CorrespondentThis title had horrible narration by the Artificial Intelligence bot!!Numerous mistakes were made by AI. A few examples: Lucille has a gash to her head. It was read using the word for the sentence, The string wound around the pole. PI (Private Investigator) was read as pie. DJs was pronounced Dee Jay Ess. That doesn’t even cover all the different was amphetamine or methamphetamine were pronounced! Emphasis was put on the wrong syllables. Long vowels were used when they should have been short.
I didn’t know there were 38 ways to say methamphetamine.
