I enjoy the aspect of trust and the aspect of true friendship, and I enjoyed the storyline and the trust between friends and the trust between lovers. Thank you for writing the story.

I’m jumping on the Hockey romance train, and I’m doing it with @authorcalimelle . This woman has done a complete 180 on me and I’m digging the light contemporary work as much as her dark alter ego. 😈

Up first in the Wyncote Wolves series is Cross Checked Hearts. I love the forbidden aspect of a brother’s best friend trope, but damn did this book make me giddy. Isla Whitley has longed for the moment Logan Knight would unveil his dirty little secret to his best friend. Not breaking the “bro code” is easier said than done when you’ve already crossed the line.

Cali’s only scratching the surface in this angsty sports romance, and I’m here to join along for the rest of the ride. Just keep those audiobooks coming because Eric London has sealed my mental image for every MMC in this series. That doesn’t go without mentioning Meg Sylvan’s performance, her soothing and mellow voice made this an enjoyable listening experience. Kudos for her portrayal of Logan as well.

so 1st thing I disliked the entire time was the male narrator.... just didn't match with the words coming from him. but everything else was great. love the female narrator, the storyline the spice and keeping me on my toes.

this was such a cute beginning to this series! I love the second chance, brothers Best friend trope! the narrators brought these two to absolute life and I enjoyed getting to know each character and side character for the rest of the series to play out!

This was a cute brother's best friend read! If I could change anything it would be all of the will they/won't they, there's was too much of it but I still gave it a 4 ⭐ because the story overall was cute and a little emotional, as in I felt like the character myself. The spice was pretty on point just as well and audio just hit differently. I enjoy Calle reads! I'm ready for the next one to see what happens with her brother August!

I love the story, I love the arthur. The narration was so so. The male voice didn’t really fit the character in my opinion.

Hockey romance

They really let the brother dictate THEIR relationship. Not only that but he was just cringey possessive. It goes from ‘if I cant have her than no one will’ to ‘I love you but your brother didn’t give us permission, I hope one day he will’ like bruh be so fr. Again not a bad book and like did i still listen to it, yeah.

the worst brother's best friend and hockey romance. and why was everyone always drunk, it was basically every chapter. don't even get me started on the mmc. he led that poor girl on for years as his dirty little secret EVEN while having a gf but oh sorry they didn't do the deed while she was high school because she's a year younger then him so he waited till she was 18. how sweet? he was loyal alright but to the wrong person. he was in the wrong the whole time

I rolled my eyes constantly and it’s just sad how desperate she is for him. Like I wish she played a little harder to get and that they didn’t put them together so easily. Idk just was kinda too much of a cliché to me
