I really enjoyed both books. This one was better than the first but both were great. It is nice to know there are happy endings for any of the damaged folks. I am looking forward now to the rest of the Ferro family series. Thank you for a great new read/series and author for me to follow.

H.M.Ward concluded the Damages series with Sidney knowing that she needs to go home to see her terminal Ill mother. Her trip home is like Homer's adventure in the Odyessey.

Peter, after a fist fight with Sam and Dean, takes Sidney back to his apartment near the college campus. While he was there Peter calls his brother, Sean, for some help. After the phone call Peter asks Sidney if she knows the last name "Ferro" and the Ferro family. Sidney lists off each of the family members and their expectations until she realized Peter Granz, her professor is Peter Ferro.

Sidney now feels lied to, but Peter refused to let Sidney drive home with out him. During their travels they pick up an injury vulture,who refused to leave Sidney alone. Peter & Sidney learn to trust each other again during the long ride.

How does Sidney parents react when she returns home? What happens to Dean? Will Peter and Sidney live HEA?

This book is enjoyable and a necessary book to read after Damages 1.

Love me some Ferro! Have to read Damaged 1 first, but you don't have to read Life Before Damaged. Love how much chemistry characters have! Peter & Sydney, Sean & Sydney, Sean & Avery (their own series is Arrangement, does not have to be read...but a great series!)

What made the experience of listening to Damaged 2 the most enjoyable?

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Kitty Bang as the Narrator. She has the best voice and does such an awesome job with the emotions throughout the book and DAMN if she cannot make the sex scenes even hotter. I am on the hunt for all AudioBooks done by Ms. Bang. Good things does most of the Ferro Family books :-) Thank you for making the story even better

What did you like best about this story?

I cannot pick out one thing, I am such a hug Ferro Family fan, but I truly loved this one the best because of the range of emotions from love to loss to fear to hilarity. I am so happy that Sydney and Peter have each other,.

Have you listened to any of Kitty Bang’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

See above notes about Kitty's performance. I have listened to MANY of her performances now and she does such a stellar job.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I was on the floor laughing to no one in particular throughout the Mr. Turkey scenes. So well written an such a surprise.

Only got chapter one in the audiobook and even that one didn't sync with the book. This has happened several times in the H. M. Ward Arrangement Series.
