This story had some angst to it. Old mr Darcy is alive. When Anne refuses to marry Darcy he threatens to disinherit his son if he does not marry quickly. While travelling to Hertfordshire he meets Elizabeth in a puddle. Great Jaff.

Darcy and Elizabeth both separately find themselves in a position where family demands that they find someone to marry in two months. They then meet and are attracted to one another but also have objections to one another. The story progresses as expected. There is not much depth to the story. I was not engaged, just mildly interested. Things felt rushed and there was not a great deal of chemistry between Darcy and Elizabeth, in my opinion. Caroline and Charles Bingley, George Wickham, Georgiana, Rev Collins and the Gardeners all play a part in the story - not so much the Bennetts and Lady Catherine.
