Epic story skilfully read by authentic Irish narrator telling the tale of a tough survivor of the Great Hunger in Ireland, the so called Indian Wars and the American civil war. Highly recommended.

The narrator made this a memorable book. A vivid account of American history with disturbing reminders of realities of the times all weaved into the life of Thomas.
