Brody has been after Rainey for years. He saw her, and wanted her from the beginning. He keeps going after her... even through an engagement (hers).

Rainey has been cheated on in every relationship she has had. And she expects no better from anyone, so she keeps Brody at arms length even when he tells her how he feels.

This was an excellent story and a great listen! I loved the characters Laura Lee created , and their stories. Stephanie Murphy is a great voice for this!!!

This is my first book by Stephanie Murphy and I really enjoyed it. It was a super fun listen! It had a little of everything, sweet, serious, laughs. Such a good listen I really enjoyed myself.
I want to hear more about this serious now! I feel invested.
Stephanie did an awesome job bringing this story to life!

Loved this story! The characters were great. I think the narration would have been better with a male and female narrator. Stephanie did a great job with the narration but a few times I got lost as to who was saying what.
I requested this free audiobook and am giving an honest review voluntarily!

This book had me right from the beginning.

I told a friend about it right away and she loved it too.

I really did not want it to end. I cannot wait to read/listen to many more books from this author. I am so hooked.

it did have some funny comments and moments however the heroine just got me mad, unlike a typical romance this one expanded o er years of interactions and when they finally share something more than snappy comments it's just a FWB dragging it more only end it in me disliking the girl for hurting the goofball hero.

I only took one star cause the term of endearment of Honey grated on my nerve by its over use, to end this opinion I will say the performer has a too feminine voice to create a male voice.

What a fun romantic comedy! Brody is hilarious- very immature but sweet so I found him endearing rather than annoying. Rainey is much more uptight but then together, they worked because they balanced each other out. This is a (forced) friends to lover romance where they were put together because they have friends in common. Brody keeps coming on to Rainey while Rainey avoids him but finds it hard to keep the attraction at bay. Throughout the relationship, Brody is often so sweet in taking care of Rainey and I love that some of the scenes show a more “realistic” view of a relationship (take the scene after eating contaminated food and how he takes care of her. Aww) Both the characters' internal musings (including when Brody provides "tips" to the listeners about what is realistic in a relationship) provide a lot of chuckles. I really enjoyed this book though Rainey's push pull was a little too drawn out.

This is the second book in the series and there are a lot of characters that will go through the books. I didn’t read the first book in the series before listening to this book and I do think that it would have been better to read in order just because there are so many characters. The supporting characters are pretty lovable too.

I bought the book but received the audiobook upon request. This is a dual POV book so i definitely think it's better to have a male and female narrator rather than just the female narrator. I've never listened to a book with Stephanie Murphy and while she was good, I couldn’t always tell which character was speaking- there wasn’t enough differentiation between the different characters and given how many characters there are in this book, it did make the listening experience a little more difficult. However, overall, it was still an enjoyable listen.

I loved absolutely EVERYTHING about this audiobook. The meet cute was the best I had ever heard. I loved how the author provided both characters point of views. The humor was top notch. The narrator was also at the top of her game. Loved her entire portrayal of the story. I can't wait to read the other characters stories!!

I loved this book! I laughed and laughed st the antics between Brody and Rainne. My favourite scene was the emergency room visit. I have read other books by Ms. Lee and have loved them. There is comedy, heartache, emotional moments and romance. I adore the secondary characters.
I loved the audio book version because the narrator was so expressive and made the comedy more hilarious. I recommend this book!
