Acerca de esta escucha
In book 5 of The Cross Series, Fred Rossi seeks to quell his anger with children and adults who have abused him verbally and physically by going on his cross to seek peace of mind.
During his brief stay on the cross, he meets Georgie, a preschooler, who captures his heart and Del who is significantly handicapped. He and Del become friends and seek out Paul, The Man on the Cross, to help them cope with their anger issues.
Maria, who was the first person to follow Paul onto a cross, leaves Italy to visit Paul and falls in love with him even though he is in love with another woman. While staying at Sacred Waters, she encounters a man filled with evil intentions and fears for her life.
Paul is invited to give a talk at Indiana University at South Bend by the head of the Philosophy Department. Instead of giving a talk, Paul asks questions of the audience concerning philosophy, ethics and personal characteristics and then opens up the floor for the audience to ask questions from him of his experiences on the cross.
Paul is given an ultimatum to remove the burned cross and mementos from his lawn by the neighborhood Home Owners Association.
