The story was okay but the basis of the problem and the resolution was probably 1/2 the book the other 1/2 was just the main characters sleeping together in different places and different ways. By the third or fourth time I was skipping ahead just to get the book to move along. The performances were great I also like the female voice better than the male but appreciated the change in performance to match the point of view.

90% of the book is "bedroom" and 10% story. I'm disappointed that I can't sink into the story because the main characters get it on ever moment they can.

Male voice was really gravely but the female voice went well with the story. I felt the story was steamy and well written. I enjoyed listening.

Story was excellent!! Not as spicy as other books but I wasn’t missing it much honestly. It kept me wanting to keep listening. Can’t wait to read the next

I hated the male narrator and wish this was performed in duet narration. The spice could've been better.

I can’t believe I waited so long to read the Demon’s Bride after reading and loving Leigh’s other books (Monster’s Manor, Nora’s Kraken, Kenna’s Dragon, The Orc from Accounting) Nora’s Kraken was also recently released in audio so I cannot wait to re-read that one soon too. Demon’s Bane (second in the Crescent Covent series after Demon’s Bride) was just released in ebook and I’m going to run and start that immediately!!

I loved this story so much.
Sometimes you just need a story that has spice and a non complicated plot. It checked all the boxes - love, no 3rd act breakup, “my wife” a swoon worthy MMC and a smart & witty FMC.

The narration was top tier. June as always is flawless. Loved Joshua as well. It was my first book with him and I was not disappointed.

Overall it was a fun listen and can’t wait to listen to book 2.

Sometimes you just need a good spicy PNR story

The story is great! The actress was great but every time it was the actor’s turn I cringed. It’s like he was trying to hard and it took away from the story cause I kept trying to tune out his voice. If he talked normal it would have been really good. Hate that I wasted my credit on this book.

I came to this book with blind eyes, but I gotta say I’m quite content with the story and I loved how it has an equal part of story and spicy I am so excited for the next books coming out, please please read it it really good 🫶
