Neve and her young daughter Bex travel among the wreckage speaking to those left behind and surviving, against all odds. Neve records everything for history, and in the hopes of locating a clue as to where the dragons came from and how one might stop them. When the defense strategy hits on a breakthrough at the same time Neve receives a lead regarding her missing son, she finds herself torn between what is personal to her and what is necessary for mankind’s survival: hope.

Love how the story unfolds through recorded interviews. It’s easy to get lost in the incredible performances. Highly recommended! Like an audiobook but with the sound effects it’s so much more.

Liked the Concept

This was a random selection on my part, but I was lured in by the listed actors and I really enjoyed this listening journey. The performances and the production values were exceptional. The story was pretty well done. I kind of wished a few of the characters I’d had a little more closure on such as Glenn Epps and the little girl Chantelle and I didn’t really enjoy the epilogue (spoiler edited out). But I’m really impressed by how clever the story was, and the characterizations — and it was like a blockbuster movie in my ear.

This was a great story I loved how it was basically World war z the book but with dragons. The story talking is exactly like the book World war Z so if you like that and dragons you'll love this. When it was over I wanted more but freaky satisfied with the ending.

I’m not usually a fan of stories told this way but this is definitely a great exception. Great story and you can hear the emotion from the cast. Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed this story. So happy it popped up for me to check out. I was hooked within the first paragraph. The story was told well and performed well. Some questions were not answered, but isn't that life.

… and I’m pretty darn picky. Hard to explain without spoilers, not that it’s suspense per se… in fact, it’s exactly what you’d expect. It’s about dragons. And how humanity reacted. WELL WORTH YOUR TIME! Only complaint- I wish it were longer!
